2024-2025 SEASON THEME
Welcome to the SUBMERGED℠ Season!
In the SUBMERGED℠ challenge, launching August 6, 2024, FIRST® LEGO® League teams will use creative thinking and LEGO® technology to explore the layers of the ocean and bring their learnings and ideas to the surface as they “sea” into the future.
Beneath the ocean’s surface lies our planet’s most complex ecosystems, full of life and potential for exploration and learning, where each inhabitant has a role to play in building a thriving environment. During the 2024-2025 FIRST season, FIRST® DIVE℠ presented by Qualcomm, teams will use their STEM and collaboration skills to explore life beneath the surface of the ocean. Along the way, we’ll uncover the potential in each of us to strengthen our community and innovate for a better world with healthy oceans.
TheMASTER PIECE℠ challenge is the division for kids ages 9-16. Its main purpose is to introduce STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) to children through fun and exciting hands-on learning using LEGO® bricks.
Teams will explore where energy comes from and how it is distributed, stored, and used – and then put their superpowered creativity to work to innovate for a better energy future.
Discover the spirit of friendly competition
With teams from all around the world!
In each training session, the team works in finding solutions based on the annual challenge given by the FIRST® LEGO® League organization.
Through research, design, and experimentation (and even some homework😉) every team member is fully committed to playing his/her role to make positive contributions to the team.
Once a problem and its possible solution(s) are defined by the team, each member gets a specific role assigned to build and program a Robot using LEGO® Education Spike Robotics set to participate in local competitions for a chance to move further to regionals, nationals, and even world events!
